Think All Day is a boutique graphic design and website design studio founded in 2007. We have served western regional and US national clients including fine and performing arts, food and beverage, hotel, fashion, home goods, and social justice industries. Each member of our team has a background in the arts, and a love for work with inspiring companies. Projects, on-site project management, and in-person training have been provided in Santa Fe, Los Angeles, Austin, Seattle, San Francisco, Miami, Washington, DC, New York City, and more. We enjoy strategizing closely with each of our clients, from font choices and color palettes to the best and most current technical features. We keep up-to-date with professional enrichment, including attendance at yearly Adobe workshops, AIGA‘s national design conference, Into the Woods designers’ retreat, and developers’ Unite.
Who We Are
Designing for and promoting wonderful creative people and their businesses makes us happy. We are 100% woman-owned and operated, and perform all of our design and programming in-house. Kristin likes pitching a tent, making too many lists, ice cream, puppies, and a new stamp or two on her passport. Jackie is known to surround herself with paints, patterns, a blank canvas, and a hot latte. Susan has a slew of talents, including knitting, beekeeping, spelunking, and cycling (from Austin to Alaska!). Erica is a force to be reckoned with onstage, and can conquer any karaoke party. While the four of us hail from a trio of western states, we each have our own warm relationship with the City Different—and the roots of our friendships and creative endeavors together began many years ago in sunny little Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Founder Kristin Carlson is an obsessive graphic artist and web designer who has worked in the field since 2002. She began her career in arts marketing at W Architecture and Alvin Ailey in New York City, holds a dual BA in art history and visual arts from Columbia University, and received a Mellon grant for study in London. She lives in the high desert of Santa Fe, where she is fond of hiking, picnics, and camping. Kristin serves on the Advisory Committee for The Design Corps of Santa Fe, is an AIGA New Mexico board member, CreateAthon team lead, and Inspire Santa Fe mentor. She was one of two state representatives selected to attend Open: AIGA National Leadership Retreat in 2016, and a keynote speaker at Pixel to Paper.
Partner Jackie Jones is a designer, illustrator, and website stylist, and has been the bohemian face of Think since the early days of 2009, manning a laptop from Santa Fe to Austin and the Pacific Northwest to Kenya. She studied traditional oil painting in the cobblestone streets of Florence, Italy, holds a BA in visual arts and art history from the University of San Diego, and has devoted time to hand-painting murals atop scaffolding à la Michelangelo. Now she may be found with her sketchbook in hand, exploring the wine valley of Yakima, Washington, where she is keeping busy (and dirty!) renovating her first home. Jackie is a member of Design Corps, AIGA Seattle, and Glassbreakers.
Erica Gionfriddo has worked with Think All Day as a content coordinator since 2014, including launch and marketing efforts for her award-winning company ARCOS Dance. Erica is an artist at heart, holds a BFA, and contributes her talents to our clients’ marketing campaigns, outreach, website updates, and general sanity. In addition to being an incredible performer and choreographer, she is handy in Photoshop, InDesign, WordPress, Shopify, and MailChimp. As an Adjunct Lecturer at University of Texas Austin, Erica now calls The Lone Star State home base, and takes her Think-ing on campus and on tour—from the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, to residencies in Wyoming’s wilderness.
